PROJECT
“Development, Implementation, and Internationalization of a Comprehensive Simulator for Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery”
PROJECT GOAL
The goal of the project is to develop an innovative, world-class comprehensive simulator for minimally invasive robotic surgery.
Total Project Value (Overall Cost): PLN 11,437,952.56
European Funds Contribution: PLN 7,470,992.44
The device will be dedicated to Medical Simulation Centers (MSCs) at medical universities and hospitals equipped with robotic systems. The product, resulting from planned R&D activities, will be available to all hospital staff practicing robotic surgery or specializing in this field, as well as students training in medical simulation centers at medical universities.
Activities to be completed during the project:
1. Development of the technology.
2. Research on machine learning models.
3. Development of a prototype.
4. Integration work.
5. Preparation for the simulator’s implementation.
6. Production of a pilot series.
7. EMC testing (electromagnetic compatibility).
8. Participation in industry events.
9. Participation in international business missions.
10. Organization of an inbound economic mission.
The developed simulator will be an independent tool from the robotic system itself, optimizing the learning process. The high level of innovation in this solution will distinguish it from products currently available on the global market.
