Today, we bring to you the physical module of the procedure!
?A pyloromyotomy is a surgical operation that involves the cutting of the pyloric muscle to widen its lumen. The module also replicates a developmental anomaly – hypertrophy of the muscle with a thickness of 6mm. The silicone module has a two-layered muscle and mucous membrane that resembles the pylorus of the stomach. The realistic depiction of human tissues in this module provides surgeons with an accurate simulation, enabling them to sharpen their skills before conducting procedures on actual patients.?‍⚕️
