Pyeloplasty Physical Module

Some time ago, we showed you a virtual reality pyeloplasty procedure. Today, it’s time for the physical module! The training module allows for simulating renal pelvic plastic surgery. What sets it apart? First and foremost, a highly detailed reproduction of human tissues, such as the renal pelvis with hydronephrosis, a 5 mm ureteral stricture, and a patent ureter beyond that, additionally, the module is equipped with a handle that enables the suspension of the renal pelvis. This feature allows trainees to practice the delicate manipulation and suturing techniques required in a pyeloplasty procedure.
